Haivision's Free SRT Player for Remote and At-Home Workflows Now Available for Android and iOS Users
Montreal, Canada - January 13, 2021 - Haivision (TSX: HAI), a leading global provider of mission-critical, real-time video streaming and networking solutions, continues to drive IP video transformation and SRT adoption with the latest release of its award-winning Haivision Play Pro app, now available for use on Android mobile devices, enabling remote broadcast video workflows.
Haivision Play Pro is a free mobile app that enables users to securely play or stream live low latency video over SRT from anywhere. SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), originally developed and open sourced by Haivision, is a widely-adopted video streaming protocol supported by more than 450 video solution providers across the video streaming, broadcast and cloud markets.
Since its release, Haivision Play Pro has quickly become a critical component in IP video workflows and is relied upon by thousands of users around the globe to securely play and stream live SRT feeds from anywhere over the internet. Recently recognized as the winner of the 2020 NAB Show Product of the Year Award in the remote production category, the iOS and Android Haivision Play Pro app is an essential tool in remote workflows.
