CP Communications Names Louis Borrelli, Jr. to Advisory Board By Ken Kerschbaumer, Editorial Director

CP Communications has strengthened the business acumen and strategic vision of its Advisory Board with the appointment of Louis Borrelli, Jr., a pioneer in cable television, online media and broadcast production services. Borrelli joins the board immediately, and will work closely with CP Communications CEO Kurt Heitmann and the senior management team to help guide the strategic development of the company.
Lou Borrelli has joined the CP Communications Board of Advisors.
CP Communications has long been the undisputed leader in wireless content acquisition, audio and communications for sports and live broadcast events, said Kurt Heitmann, CEO, CP Communications. As CP Communications expands its focus to include technologies like bonded cellular, cloud services and IP content acquisition to serve a broader range of customers, Lou's long history of business innovation and depth of industry experience will prove invaluable to our continued growth and development.

CP's history of success combined with their ability to innovate uniquely positions the Company for growth.
Borrelli is a recognized industry thought leader, with decades of traditional and new media executive experience. His entrepreneurial vision and leadership skills have led to roles of increasing responsibility over the course of his successful career.
Borrelli's early career in cable television, which included several executive and C-level roles, led to a Senior Vice President, Broadband position with America Online, a division of AOL Time Warner, from 2001-2005. Borrelli successfully brought AOL's high-speed broadband business plan to market at a time when high-speed internet service was in rapid development. He established key distribution partnerships that substantially grew AOL's high-speed business with leading cable television and telecommunications providers.
Borrelli joined NEP Broadcasting in 2005 as President and CEO, where he was responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company and its four operating divisions in the US and UK. His collaborative approach and unique vision helped solidify NEP as one of broadcast industry's most recognized brands, increasing its industry-leading market share in the teleproduction of live sports and entertainment events.
Borrelli has transitioned to technology investment and advisor roles in recent years, and has been an active board member with industry and non-industry organizations. He has worked with companies and organizations including ShowGo.TV (live music streaming), Piiku.com (Smart Advertising), the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame (a founding board member); and the SUNY Oswego School of Communications, Media and the Arts. Borrelli is a 1977 graduate of SUNY Oswego.
