THE CHERNOBYL PODCAST co-hosts Craig Mazin (creator, writer and executive producer of HBO's Emmy -nominated miniseries Chernobyl ) and Peter Sagal (NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me! ) are joined by special guest Jared Harris (Emmy -nominated star of HBO's Chernobyl ) for a bonus podcast episode which launches today.

The original five episodes of THE CHERNOBYL PODCAST, which debuted weekly following new episodes of HBO's Chernobyl miniseries, have accumulated more than nine million plays. Available on HBO GO, HBO NOW, YouTube, Stitcher, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify and other podcast apps, THE CHERNOBYL PODCAST provides an in-depth look at adapting the true stories that shaped the scenes, characters and themes depicted in the miniseries.

The five-part miniseries Chernobyl, starring Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsg rd and Emily Watson and directed by Johan Renck dramatizes the 1986 nuclear accident - one of the worst human-made catastrophes in history. Nominated for 19 Emmys , including Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Writing (Mazin), Outstanding Directing (Renck), Outstanding Lead Actor (Harris), Outstanding Supporting Actor (Skarsg rd) and Outstanding Supporting Actress (Watson), the full miniseries is available to stream on HBO GO, HBO NOW, and partners' streaming platforms.

Chernobyl debuted on HBO in May 2019 and was produced by Sister Pictures, The Mighty Mint and Word Games as an HBO/Sky co-production; Carolyn Strauss and Jane Featherstone executive produce; Johan Renck and Chris Fry co-executive produce; Sanne Wohlenberg produces.
