Joan Mir will head the new headquarters of TVU Networks in Spain and Portugal California multinational opens office in Barcelona with the aim of supporting broadcasters in transforming video operations SDI migration to IP.
Joan Mir, a renowned professional with long experience in the broadband and broadcast sector, has joined TVU Networks to lead the activity of the company since the new office of the multinational in Barcelona.
Como director comercial para Iberia estar a cargo del desarrollo de negocio, el crecimiento de las actividades de valor a adido y la consolidaci n de las relaciones con los clientes en los sectores broadcast, corporativo, educaci n y seguridad. Otra parte de su cometido consistir en potenciar la red de partners, desde las productoras audiovisuales, los operadores m viles, los integradores de sistemas y los CDNs.
Anteriormente y durante los ltimos siete a os, Mir ha estado dedicado al desarrollo de negocio de la banda ancha satelital en Espa a, Europa y Norte de Africa. En su carrera cuenta con m s de veinte a os de experiencia en marketing y ventas en diferentes operadores de telecomunicaciones y fabricantes de tecnolog a muy avanzada.
Paul Shen, CEO de TVU Networks, ha destacado que Joan cuenta con un largo recorrido y mantiene muy buenas relaciones de alto nivel en el sector de las telecomunicacioones y en los grupos de comunicaci n, as como en organizaciones de eventos deportivos y en fabricantes de equipos. Mir has been on both sides of the board, as the operator of broadband services, including Telefonica Moviles, Orange and SES-Astra, and as a manufacturer. During the period in industry space telecommunication has served clients such as RTVE, Eurosport and TV3 as well as broadband services for the organization of major sporting events such as Titan Desert or the Tour of Spain in 2015 and in 2016 and others.
