To maximize cloud production capabilities for its popular live radio programs, Spain's public service radio broadcaster Radio Nacional de Espa a (RNE) has turned to LiveU's efficient and agile IP-video solutions combined with its local partner s, Datos Media Technologies', integration expertise. Thanks to LiveU's LU-Smart mobile app integrated with its LiveU Studio cloud production service, RNE has a next-generation streamlined solution that allows it to better connect with its audience.

LU-Smart leverages existing networks (4G/5G, WiFi, and LAN) to provide reliable, stable, and high-quality coverage, enabling live content production from virtually any location via a smartphone. These signals are sent to LiveU Studio, which facilitates live content production in the cloud, allowing for channel management and mixing (up to 12 sources), graphic editing, switching, and video signal distribution from anywhere, without the need for complex physical infrastructure.

On top of this, LU-Smart and LiveU Studio enhance RNE's capacity to cover live events with minimal equipment and reduced costs. To add even more value, LiveU Studio enables the integration of additional LiveU portable field units to contribute and integrate distributed live feeds for broadcast across any RTVE platform.
