Fans of isiXhosa telenovela, Gqeberha: The Empire are anticipating actor Bongile Mantsai's villainous character, Hlumelo Mxenge.

BONGILE MANTSAI SHOULD REPLACE MBULELO GROOTBOOM' Gqeberha: The Empire viewers took to social media this week to reveal that Mantsai should have joined the show as Mbulelo Grootboom's character, Luzuko instead of Hlumelo.

@Dakalo19890844 revealed: He should have played Luzuko in the first place, after entertainment commentator Jabu Macdonald announced Mantsai's latest role.

While another viewer, @YMgqamgqo tweeted: For Luzuko to die in the heist and He (the brother) takes over his empire.

The multi-award-winning actor, Bongile Mantsai revealed to Sunday World this week that his character comes with good intentions.

Hlumelo is coming with good intension but intensions come with circumstances. He is willing to help his brother with the challenges he faces while he is trying to build .

The fan-favourite isiXhosa actor who's scored the role of Luzuko's brother in the Eastern Cape-based telenovela is expected to make his debut on Monday, 20 November on the Mzansi Magic TV show.
