New tween show, Hectic On 3 premieres on SABC

On Monday 30 April 2018, SABC 3 sets the stage with a brand-new tween show, Hectic On 3 from 15h00 to 15h30 every weekday. Hectic On 3 offers young viewers aged 8 to12 years old, a full half hour of live television, filled with fun, creativity and plenty of slime!

Three is the name of the game on Hectic On 3, as each episode explores three themes: Play, Create and Inspire. From DIY's to demo's, pranks and skits; young viewers can expect an interactive television experience that entertains and teaches tweens about the wonderful world around them.

Each episode will address issues that affect the sophisticated tween audiences, as they navigate the changes from childhood to teenage years and discover who they want to be as their independence grows.

Hectic On 3 will be presented by Boitumelo Melo' Moloto a familiar face to SABC 3's young audience from her appearance on Yum.Me Season One. Boitumelo and a host of other over-the-top characters form part of the Hectic On 3 squad, plus every tween in Mzansi is invited to be part of it!

Okuhle Productions, the company that brought viewers the flagship youth television show Hectic Nine-9, as well as Yum.Me, is no stranger to children's television. Series producer, Wilna Van Schalkwyk comments: With over a decade worth of experience in children's television, we're extremely excited about the new shift for the Hectic brand. We can now focus specifically on our teen audience with Hectic Nine-9, and can now branch out and focus on a brand-new tween audience with Hectic On 3.

Tune in to Hectic On 3 on SABC 3, Mondays to Fridays at 15h00 from Monday 30 April for the first episode of Hectic On 3.
