RT Commiions Season Four of Love/Hate

RT Commissions Season Four of Love/Hate 07 February 2013: RT is delighted to confirm that Love/Hate has been officially commissioned for a fourth series.

The series will start filming later this spring. The third series is nominated for 11 IFTA awards this Saturday including:

Commissioning Editor for RT Drama Jane Gogan said: I am very pleased to confirm that contracts for a fourth series of Love/Hate have been signed. In advance of Saturday night's IFTAs this is a good opportunity to wish the cast and crew the very best of luck at the awards and all good wishes going into the new series.

An average audience of 953,000* viewers watched the season finale of the third series on Sunday 16 December 2012, which represented a 56% share of the audience. The reach was over 1.2 million viewers.** A peak of over one million (1,074,440)*** viewers tuned into RT One at 10:27pm that night to watch the gripping series' climax. Overall, the third series had an average of 748,000 viewers, which represented a 42% share of the audience.

The first and second series of Love/Hate are available to watch in the United States on HULU. ITV Global Entertainment represents Love/Hate on behalf of RT and Octagon Films. To date, the first and second series of Love/Hate have also been broadcast in Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the MiddleEast. Australia and South Korea have confirmed purchase of the third series.

Love/Hate is written and created by Stuart Carolan and produced by Octagon Films for RT . Its cast, now household names, includes Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Robert Sheehan, Peter Coonan, Charlie Murphy, Aoibhinn McGinnity, Susan Loughnane and Jason Barry.
