Zattoo, one of Europe's leading TV Streaming and TV-as-a-Service providers, has announced that Sky Switzerland, a long-standing provider of OTT pay television and VOD services for the Swiss market, is working closely with Zattoo as a lighthouse customer for its newly launched suite of powerful Stream API services on Sky Switzerland's platform, powering applications, frontends and devices in the IPTV market.
Stream API, which enables operators to take full advantage of next-generation streaming solutions, was recently launched and demonstrated at the IBC 2024 show in Amsterdam. It includes innovative features such as Advertising API, Playback SDK, and Playback Telemetry and is engineered to address the multifaceted demands of contemporary streaming. Underpinning these powerful custom-built Stream API applications and services is Zattoo's carrier-grade, fully managed head-end and video platform, and an extensive European content distribution network, ensuring unparalleled streaming quality. Built on two decades of technological expertise, it's Europe's largest, fastest growing and most utilised unicast content distribution and delivery platform.
