Sennheiser Brings MOMENTUM to RocNation Kick-Off Event for TIDAL Streaming Service

Roc Nation, founded by acclaimed rapper Jay Z in 2008, acquired TIDAL developer Aspiro in February. Jay Z was joined at the New York City kick-off event by the artist co-owners of TIDAL, including Alicia Keys, Madonna, Jack White, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, J Cole, Daft Punk, Kanye West, and Beyonc , while other artists and fans voiced their support for TIDAL on social media using the #TIDALforALL hashtag.

After participating in the signing of a declaration to commit to reestablish the value of music and deliver high quality sound, video and editorial, the artists invited guests to circulate with their MOMENTUM headphones and experience listening stations distributed throughout the venue. These included several stations streaming high-fidelity audio to tablets via the new TIDAL platform, as well as stations demonstrating the music and audio technology of each decade from the 50s to the present.
