Based In Breakthrough's Toronto Headquarters Jackson To Work Alongside Recently-Appointed Head Of Alternative US Beth Fraikorn

TORONTO (May 1, 2015) - Continuing its expansion into the Reality and Non-Fiction categories, Breakthrough Entertainment has named Chantal Jackson as Head of Development, Alternative Content. Headquartered in Toronto, Jackson will work alongside Head of Alternative Content US Beth Fraikorn, who is based in the company's recently-established New York office.
In her new position, Jackson will identify and develop reality and non-fiction projects for original series development as well as forge co-production partnerships with independent producers in both Canada and the US.
A writer and producer with an extensive track record in reality, factual and lifestyle genres, Jackson has developed, produced and consulted on a number of series that have aired on such leading channels as HGTV, Food, TLC, Discovery Life, WE TV, W Network and CMT. Her recent credits include Buying and Selling with the Property Brothers, Amazing Race Canada and Say Yes to the Dress Canada.
As factual and reality continues to play a huge role across the global marketplace, we are committed to becoming a prime source of quality alternative programming.
