Leyard and Planar exhibit at NAB its first touch LED videowall A patented film placed on the surface LED next to a framework of infrared allow to convert a video wall of large format on a touch screen.

Leyard and Planar they have been surprised at NAB with Leyard LED Multitouch, the first videowall multitouch that aims to revolutionize the interactivity in pitch LED very small screens.

For this solution, Leyard has patented a film called PLTS (Pliable LED Touch Surface) which placed LED surface protects it offering a screen if seams, light and durable in which several people can be interacting with it without fear of damage points LED.

In addition to the film, the solution of full-framed an imperceptible infrared around the screen, getting a highly sensitive response to any motion of the hand on the surface. This new concept open no doubt LED display technology to a wide range of collaborative applications which until now were only domain of LCDs.

Leyard MultiTouch LED offers a touch experience seamless for videowalls LED up to 196 of diagonal with high resolution of 1.2 mm pixels.

The technology allows up to 32 points of contact, allowing multiple users to interact simultaneously with the wall of video without affecting other users. The touch experience is precise and intuitive, with excellent tactile feel on a smooth, antistatic surface.

In contrast to the glass panels, which can trap heat and cause annoying reflections in environments such as television studios, Leyard LED MultiTouch proposal boasts Leyard PLTS patented technology to create a surface anti-glare eliminating annoying reflections. The screen offers an image crisp and high contrast using LEDs of high quality with powerful black and a great uniformity of color and brightness even when viewed off-axis.

Highlight, on the other hand that the touch surface material Leyard PLTS is extremely durable and can be easily removed and then reapplying it, so it makes maintenance easy.
