AP and TVN Agency announce continued cooperation on newsgathering The Associated Press and TVN Agency (TVN) today announced a two year extension to the newsgathering cooperation that began in 2009. The Warsaw-based agency will supply video news stories from Poland for further distribution to AP clients worldwide.

Under terms of the deal, TVN will continue to be APs sole supplier of video content from Poland. The stories supplied will cover key political, social, economic and sports news. TVN will also provide live broadcasts from key news events for AP clients in cooperation with TVN 24, Polands leading 24/7 news channel.

Since the start of this cooperation TVN has provided AP with over 450 news stories from Poland, including the 2010 Air Force Tu-154 crash, the Polish Presidency in the EU, the 2011 parliamentary elections and 2012 European Football Championships.
