After 7 seasons, South African-born comedian Trevor Noah said his final goodbye to The Daily Show, in an emotional speech, Trevor thanked his fans.

He dedicated his very emotional speech to black people but most importantly black women,almost in tears he told the world that Unlike everybody else, Black women can't afford to f k around and find out.

Trevor Noah has always been a supporter of marginalised groups, taking on issues of black women, queer people, racism and many other issues that needed to be spoken about in mainstream media.

CONGRESSIONAL SAME-SEX MARRIAGE BILL It's really strange to be diving back into this debate that we thought was resolved in 2015

Trevor Noah said on his show after the U.S. House passed a bill legalising gay and interracial marriage.

This was caused by the fear that the Supreme Court would also target gay and interracial marriage after the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

NORTH CAROLINA'S TRANSPHOBIA BATHROOM BILL In 2016, after North Carolina passed its 2016 bathroom bill banning trans people from using facilities matching their gender identity.

Trevor Noah took the time on his show to address how absurd the bill was,

He joked that there is no one I would not let use the bathroom for $2 billion,

The state was facing a possible loss of $2 billion in federal funding over the law.

LGBTQ RIGHTS PROGRESS WORLDWIDE Again, in 2018 Trevor noted the progress that has been made in the progress that has been made around the world in terms of LGBTQ acceptance.

This also came at the back of pro-LGBTQ Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring from the bench, he noted some major events that had taken place.

Celebrating Germany, Taiwan, and Bermuda moving towards legalising same-sex marriage.
