The controversy that followed DJ Hlo (real name Hlosiwe Mthalane) last year after she won Ukhozi FM's Song Of The Year seems to have been avoided this year but musicians are now convinced the competition is rigged.

According to Daily Sun, the top 10 songs that fans are now asked to vote for were not part of the original Song Of the Year nominees. The original list has been allegedly leaked.

UKHOZI FM TOP 10 RIGGED? The publication reports that a list of songs that were nominated for the Top 10 were apparently leaked by someone at the station on Friday 16 December.

This leaked document is authentic and those songs should have been in the Top 10 Unfortunately, the voting process was flawed, a source revealed.

The public was bound to find out because no one is happy about this current Top 10 Even the presenters are angry because they were excluded from the process The management is angry because the person they chose to do this job failed dismally and exposed a lot of irregularities, said another source.

The musicians that made the original list are apparently also fuming and feel that their hard work is going unnoticed.

IS THE COMPETITION RIGGED? According to the leaked list, Mthandeni Manqele's song Amajitha got the most votes, followed by Nosizwe's Baba kaThemba, DJ Cndo's Hezekiya, DJ Hlo's Visa and All Nations Christian Church in Zion's Sengiyacela Nkosi, but none of these tracks made the current list, reports the publication.

Speaking to the publication, Mthandeni said, I am very angry because my followers wanted me to be part of this competition but Ukhozi FM decided to do this .
