SuperSport acquires 2014 Soccer World Cup broadcast rights in Africa --

All 64 soccer matches in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, taking place from 12 June to 13 July in Brazil, will be broadcast on DStv s SuperSport channel, with live matches available to viewers on the SuperSport HD channels.
MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that they will be offering Nigerians who do not yet subscribe to the pay TV channels, a discount on the price of their decoders, in order for them to be able to watch games and support Super Eagles, Nigeria s participating soccer team. The offer comes with two-month subscription on the Access bouquet.
SuperSport, along with a number of African sports analysts and presenters, will be in Brazil to cover the event, and provide viewers with compelling content.
Felix Awogu, General Manager of SuperSport said, In addition to the world-class broadcast quality that is our trademark and which our subscribers will enjoy, they will also have access to insightful football analysis and thrilling magazine programmes which will showcase the stories outside the field of play.
