After a rigorous global software search, Brazil's Rede Globothe second-largest commercial TV network in the worldhas entered into an agreement with Vimsoft to implement VimBiz Enterprise Rentals Management along with supporting VimBiz Asset Management and VimBiz Stockroom Management solutions. This important official step comes after Vimsoft expert consultants analyzed existing Broadcast Operations and Engineering workflows onsite in Rio de Janeiro in autumn 2012. Vimsoft consultants saw tremendous opportunities for efficiency improvements as Rede Globo prepares for FIFA World Cup 2014 and the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
We are very proud VimBiz came out on top during software evaluations, noted Vimsoft Business Development Manager Tom Levesque, who added, The onsite consultation and subsequent discussions revealed there could be more to this business relationship than leading-edge VimBiz software to manage movement of production-set materials, equipment, parts, and media assets. It was premature to identify Rede Globo as a customer last fall, but now that the deal is official it's safe to say our teams have great synergy and a shared outlook of a long and mutually beneficial relationship. Exciting times are ahead for Vimsoft and Rede Globo as the World Cup and Summer Olympics approach.
