Panasonic Varicam 5 and Varicam HS To Make Tour Stops at Abelcine LA And VTP Burbank In Advance Of Cine Gear Expo

Panasonic has announced that its new VariCam 35 and VariCam HS cameras will be previewed at AbelCine LA and VTP Burbank in early June, affording Southern California cinematographers an opportunity to see the new models in advance of Cine Gear Expo.

Winners of industry honors at the recent National Association of Broadcasters show, the VariCam 35 incorporates a newly-developed super 35mm MOS image sensor for superb 4K, UHD, 2K and HD acquisition, while the 2/3 VariCam HS features high-speed 1080p image capture of up to 240fps for the most demanding documentary, sports or SFX slow-motion applications.

The AbelCine event will be held Tuesday, June 3 between 1 and 4 p.m., at offices located at 801 South Main Street, Burbank. The VTP demonstration is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, noon-1:30 p.m., venue located at 2721 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank.

In addition, Panasonic is exhibiting both VariCams along with other premier cinematography equipment at Cine Gear Expo ( http://www.cinegear.com ), Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, booth S226 at The Studios at Paramount, Hollywood.
