MSE to Introduce Media Tools at IBC 0

Matthews Studio Equipment, manufacturer of specialized support for the entertainment industry announces that they will introduce one of their newest products, Media Tools at IBC 2013.

Today, everyone on a production whether it's a major motion picture, an intimate documentary or corporate production, uses their laptops, iPads, and other electronic devices to assist them to do their jobs faster and more efficiently, says Robert Kulesh, Vice President of Sales and Advertising for Matthews Studio Equipment. Up until now, crews have Gerry-rigged a variety of support devices to keep their equipment close at hand.

Now, thanks to MSE's newest support offering, Media Tools, photographers, videographers, editors, D.I.T.s and more working on location or in the studio can have easy access to their electronic devices with MSE's Media Tray and other tools, allowing for greater mobility and better support. Media Tray can easily handle their media devices using industry standard tools, he explains. Media Tools, and our Media Tray will hold laptops like the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and others, as well as any other devices on a 10.5 by 16.5 (26.5cm x 42cm) tray.

The tray is equipped with an industry standard 3/8 female thread on the bottom, a removable 5/8 (baby) adapter for mounting to light stands or a wide selection of industry hardware. Weighing only 2lbs (.8kg), this sturdy platform features a pattern of air slots to protect devices with payloads up to 35lbs (15kg) from overheating.
