To help us meet future challenges we are looking for an Experienced C Developer (m/f) Proficient in Network Environments to join our growing team.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for developing new functions and technologies for our flagship product, Cinema 4D.

Program independently and develop solutions for MAXON software products

Continuously develop, maintain and optimize Cinema 4D with a particular focus on network routines and distributed systems

Coordinate with developers, product management, QA and product design

What we are looking for:

A dedicated C developer (m/f) with a good understanding of 2D/3D software development and at least 3 years of programming experience.

Experience with various development platforms and target systems (OS X, Windows, Linux)

Profound knowledge of all phases of the software development process

Good network programming skills, including client/server network protocols, peer-to-peer connections, distributed systems, etc.

Very good analytical skills for finding and eliminating software errors in different application layers

Independent worker with the ability to complete large and complex projects autonomously

Good English skills, written and spoken

You enjoy working in a multi-national team

Python programming skills a plus

Experience with 3D computer graphics, in particular rendering, would be an advantage

Experience with Zeroconf technologies a plus
