Olympus Playground to take place at photokina in 2018 and 2019 The world s leading trade fair for imaging will be enriched with an absolute event highlight: the Olympus Playground will stop at the exhibition grounds of photokina in 2018 and 2019. Photography and art fans will be able to photographically discover new worlds on more than 2,000 square metres, including evening hours after the official fair opening.

The Playground event series from Olympus has inspired 400,000 visitors throughout Europe since 2013, also because the concept is unique: an inspiring art exhibition becomes a playground for photography and thus ensures an incomparable product experience. Whether hobby or professional photographer, the playground provides every opportunity to test cameras and design one s own imaging worlds. All guests have the possibility to become familiar with the advantages of compact OM-D or Olympus PEN system cameras, and to get over any misgivings they might have. The Playground thus perfectly complements the new concept of photokina, which focuses on the experiencing of products and services revolving around the theme of imaging.

Photography experience into the late evening hours

In 2018, the Playground will take place from 26-29 September in hall 1 of the Cologne fair grounds. For visitors of photokina, the path to the exhibition is thus short, but can also ideally follow a visit to the trade fair: the Playground will be open until the late evening hours after the end of exhibition. All photokina visitors will of course also receive free admission to the Playground.
