Joensuu, October 8, 2013 - Rapidly gaining in popularity for applications ranging from tablets to mass storage, solid state drives (SSDs) are predicted to make up 40% of the hard drive market by 2016,1 yet challenges have persisted with secure erasure of data from complex flash-based SSD memory.
