Media Links Inc. Promotes David Herfert to Vice President of Sales, Americas

Media Links Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Global Links, the market leader in broadcast and network transport over IP solutions, today announced the promotion of David Herfert to Vice President of Sales, Americas. In this role, Dave will continue to develop the Media Links Inc. sales strategy as well as lead the sales team for the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America.

Dave has been a key part of Media Links management for several years, joining the company in 2006.

Dave brings an exceptional knowledge of the technology and marketplace to Media Links. He has led the Americas sales team through double-digit sales growth in a highly competitive industry and has orchestrated numerous major wins in both the Telco and Broadcast markets. Dave creates strong connections between customer requirements and Media Links leading and innovative products to deliver strong partnerships, growth and profitability.

His career spans over 15 years where he has played an instrumental role enabling companies to achieve sustainable growth. Before joining Media Links, Dave was Vice President, North American Sales for Video Products Group where he led the sales team and significantly broadened VPGs customer base securing substantial key wins and establishing VGP as a vendor of choice.

Dave is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he earned his bachelors degree. He has also received a variety of certificates of training for engineering, business, project, and personnel management, among others. Dave is an active member of the Sports Video Group (SVG) and the Video Services Forum (VSF).
