XJ- uses FundFind to raise funds production film

Eternal Film Productions has turned to South Africas new and exciting crowdfunding platform, FundFind, to help to raise the funds needed to make this film a reality.

FundFind has officially been running for 4 months and is continuing to grow from strength to strength in South Africas exciting crowdfunding arena.

XJ-1 is an original story that is being put into production by Eternal Film Productions (PTY) Ltd. The script was developed with the aim to capture the attention of an international audience with an excellent story. Although many independent film makers exist in South Africa, not many are recognised internationally. Furthermore, no one in South Africa has ever attempted to film a drama with such a technological background and science fiction flavour.Eric Scott and his friend, Jason White are working on a new game they designed in their private time that will be launched soon.

They both work for a large intelligence corporation called Sky Corp. After exploring an abandoned warehouse as a possible location for their game launch party, Eric meets a mysterious artificial intelligence being on an old system that remained there. The system is in a vulnerable shape and threatens the continued existence of XJ-1 as Eric now calls him.

In a courageous attempt, Eric finds a way to transfer him to one of Sky Corps extended storage systems and Jason helps him. Not long after, XJ-1s personality begins to change and starts to take over portions of Sky Corps mainframe. It is like a virus spreading uncontrollably and no one is succeeding to get control back over the situation.

Knowing that it is entirely their fault, Eric and Jason heroically continue to try and find a way to save Sky Corp. In their search, they start to uncover a top secret project and find documents to support their theories. The story takes many twists and turns and eventually comes down to a virtual battle between the good and the bad where everything is on the line and sacrifices have to be made.

They are looking to raise R200 000 through FundFind towards the production of this film, and have many exciting rewards in store for both individual and corporate funders. Rewards include special thanks credits, extra roles, film memorabilia, and advertising opportunities to name but a few.
