StarHub TV Enhances Line-up with Quality Indonesian Channels

- The Indonesia Channel and MNC Infotainment to debut on StarHub TV in October-

Singapore, 1 October 2014 - Audiences across Singapore can soon look forward to two new exciting Indonesian Channels, The Indonesia Channel (StarHub TV Channel 171) and MNC Infotainment (StarHub TV Channel 170), when they debut on StarHub TV on 2 October and 17 October respectively. The Indonesia Channel, (StarHub TV Channel 171), Indonesia's first and only English-language entertainment channel, will be offered free-of-charge to all StarHub TV customers. Customers of the existing MNC Indonesian Pack and Impian Pack can enjoy MNC Infotainment, an entertainment and lifestyle channel at no additional cost.

The Indonesia Channel (StarHub TV Channel 171)

A FreeView channel on StarHub TV, The Indonesia Channel (TIC), is an English entertainment channel designed to inform and entertain 24/7. It caters to the international audience while reflecting an Asian perspective.

From its exciting slate of programming which comprises of global and original local productions, the channel will offer audiences in Singapore, a window into the world's fourth most populous country with signature original programmes such as The Best of Bali, the ultimate insider's guide to the best of the island that is never before seen in other shows; ASEAN Today, which reports on the top stories affecting the 10-member countries in the ASEAN Association along with regular features on travel, personalities and travel; and Passion for Fashion, a weekly programme that shines its spotlights on the country's talented fashion designers, hot models, and high society events.

MNC Infotainment (StarHub TV Channel 170)

Jam-packed with celebrity news, entertainment nuggets and shows, fans can be assured that they will be kept up-to-date with their entertainment knowledge on MNC Infotainment. With the launch, MNC Infotainment will be the third channel from Indonesia's leading network, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk, to be carried on StarHub TV. The two existing channels are MNC International and MNC Business.

Exciting upcoming programmes on MNC Infotainment that viewers can look forward to are: 100% Cucok, a reality dating programme in which a female participant will choose her soul mate among 50 male participants, based on their voices and talents without seeing their physical appearances; Serba 10, a celebrity-centric programme that focuses its discussions on Indonesia's hottest artistes; and Syahrini Lost in Italy, a reality programme that tracks talented singer and actress Rini Fatimah Jaelani, also known as Syahrini, on her journey to Italy.

As The Indonesia Channel will be added to the Basic Tier, all StarHub TV customers can catch it at no additional cost. To allow customers to sample MNC Infotainment, there will be a complimentary viewing of the channel from 9am on 17 October to 12pm on 31 October. Thereafter, customers can continue to view MNC Infotainment when they subscribe to the MNC Indonesian Pack, priced at a monthly subscription fee of $8.56 (including GST) or through the Impian Pack which costs $16.90 (including GST).

The MNC Indonesian Pack also includes MNC Business (Ch 121) and MNC International (Ch 122). Impian Pack comprises Channel M (Ch 824), Dunia Sinema On Demand (Ch 120), KBS World HD (Ch 115), MNC Business (Ch 121), MNC Infotainment (Ch 170), MNC International (Ch 122), ONE (Malay) (Ch 124), ONE (English) (Ch 820), ONE HD (Ch 823), and Sensasi (Ch 123).
