Groupe M dia TFO and Zero Density give great strides in the advancement of virtual reality on television Laboratoire d'univers virtuels (LUV / Virtual World Laboratory), una iniciativa del broadcatser canadiense Groupe M dia TFO en la que colabora Zero Density est llevando a cabo interesantes pruebas de realidad virtual en estudio con los m s realistas resultados.
Groupe M dia TFO (GMTFO), una compa a p blica de Ontario (Canad ), est logrando interesantes resultados en una iniciativa que pretende avanzar en el desarrollo de la realidad virtual, aumentada y mixta en entornos televisivos. Su Laboratoire d'univers virtuels (LUV / Virtual World Laboratory) est empleando la avanzada tecnolog a de Zero Density para llevar a cabo pruebas con los m s realistas resultados. Precisamente IBC otorg a esta iniciativa el Premio a la Innovaci n para la Creaci n de Contenidos y el Premio del Jurado.
El vicepresidente de Tecnolog as y Optimizaci n de GMTFO, ric Minoli, reconoci al recoger estos premios que era un honor que un broadcaster sin nimo de lucro y creador de contenido ganar este Premio IBC de Innovaci n. Quisiera agradecer al jurado del IBC, a nuestros socios, a Epic Games, a Zero Density, a STYpe y CEV ya todos los empleados de Groupe M dia TFO que aceptaron el desaf o. El Laboratoire d'univers virtuels era un proyecto verdaderamente unificador .
Aunque se denomina un laboratorio , LUV es un entorno de producci n revolucionario que permite la creaci n de conjuntos virtuales que son casi indistinguibles de los conjuntos f sicos, lo que permite ahorros significativos de costos, as como alentar nuevos niveles de creatividad en la narraci n.
La historia detr s de este logro notable comenz en 2014, cuando un equipo de personas con una larga experiencia en producci n, postproducci n y efectos visuales se unieron para este proyecto innovador. Hab an concebido una idea brillante: un potente motor que dominaba la industria del juego podr a servir a la industria de la radiodifusi n. Haciendo este motor preparado para la radiodifusi n, Zero Density permiti el puenteo de dos industrias y proporcion nuevas opciones para aplicaciones avanzadas en producci n de VR y AR.
Una reuni n entre Zero Density y GMTFO en Las Vegas dio lugar a que Zero Density en base al motor Unreal Engine participara en este proyecto con sus propuestas Reality Virtual Studio y Augmented Reality Platform, ambas basadas en Unreal Engine.
GMTFO est cambiando el juego con LUV, usando la tecnolog a y la innovaci n para ser pionero en nuevas y m s f ciles formas de crear contenido , ha afirmado Kuban Altan, director de Investigaci n y Desarrollo de Zero Density.
LUV aprovecha el enorme poder y flexibilidad de Reality, que trae los mundos incre bles que son posibles en los videojuegos para el mundo de la difusi n , continu Altan. Groupe M dia TFO est ahorrando miles de d lares en gastos de dise o y postproducci n y haciendo que la postproducci n sea mucho m s r pida. Reality tambi n ha hecho una importante contribuci n a la capacidad de TFO para crear nuevos contenidos, como 20 canales de YouTube, incluyendo Mini ABC, uno de los mejores canales educativos de lengua francesa en Canad .
LUV est mostrando un potencial incre ble para la producci n virtual en tiempo real en un entorno broadcast, y junto con socios como Zero Density, estamos contentos de apoyar a Groupe M dia TFO en este esfuerzo , asegur Marc Petit, CEO de Epic Games, desarrollador de Unreal Engine. Estamos muy contentos de ver esta innovaci n reconocida por el liderazgo de IBC, y esperamos que LUV sirva como un modelo para otros broadcasters que buscan pensar fuera de la caja .
Reality de Zero Density est impulsado por Unreal Engine 4 y cuenta con un potente conjunto de herramientas integrado que proporciona soluciones para todos los tipos de flujos de trabajo de producci n de estudio virtual, incluyendo gr ficos aumentados y controlados por datos. Reality pretende establecer un nuevo est ndar de la industria en la producci n de estudios virtuales en t rminos de calidad de imagen, velocidad de operaci n, tecnolog a de clave y de muchas otras maneras.
