Samsung participates for the second year in a row in the 4K Summit that this year celebrates its third edition from 8 to November 10 at the pole of digital contents of Malaga. This international meeting aimed at professionals of the ultra high definition (UHD), the technology sector and the audiovisual content sector, industry brings together international experts from more than 20 countries.

Nacho Monge, marketing manager of audio and video of Samsung Spain, has given a presentation that reviews the evolution of video formats and has dealt with 4K and UHD technologies in depth. It has also anticipated some of the steps that is taking the company to evolve their development. The latest innovations from Samsung in technology UHD are present in the new category of QLED 2017 TV televisions. QLED Samsung TVs with Ultra HD Premium certification awarded by the Alliance UHD (UHDA). This certificate identifies those products and services that meet or exceed the performance levels required for the 4K resolution (UHD), high dynamic range (HDR) and the full spectrum of color.

"UHD technology development provides the creators of content new and fascinating possibilities to tell stories of an extraordinary visual power", has assured Nacho Monge, marketing manager of audio and video of Samsung Spain. "And the time new content in high definition and the growing demands of the spectators motivate us to develop televisions that reproduce these contents with total faithfulness in all its nuances: high resolution, wide dynamic range and high precision" in color, to meet the creators and consumers of high quality visual content."
