Rohde & Schwarz develops new IP possibilities for its Prismon multiscreen La nueva funci n Scalable Distributed Multiviewer aumenta la flexibilidad del sistema al tiempo que reducen la potencia de procesamiento necesaria para soportar la red.
Rohde & Schwarz ha incorporado nuevas funcionalidades estrat gicas relacionadas con IP dentro de su sistema de monitorizaci n y multiviewer broadcast R&S Prismon.
La nueva funci n Scalable Distributed Multiviewer (SDM), considerada por la empresa como la primera del mundo en el flujo de trabajo IP, ofrece una flexibilidad de configuraci n sin precedentes a los usuarios gracias a su funci n any to any . Esta caracter stica nica, que puede a adirse a las instalaciones Prismon existentes, permite la conectividad de cualquier entrada a cualquier salida a trav s de redes proxy IP para hasta 36 dispositivos remotos.
Esta opci n de escalabilidad permite a los usuarios mostrar una vista en mosaico en un sistema Prismon concreto con servicios de entrada decodificados en cualquier otro sistema Prismon dentro de la misma red IP proxy. As , por ejemplo, los usuarios pueden representar una vista con m ltiples entradas UHD, m s all de la capacidad de decodificaci n de un solo sistema. Adem s, ayuda a superar el hecho de que s lo hay un n mero limitado de interfaces f sicas ASI y SDI disponibles en un solo sistema.
Con su funcionalidad Scalable Distributed Multiviewer, Rohde & Schwarz se dirige a broadcasters que est n migrando sus controles de realizaci n y emisiones a flujos de trabajo basados en IP. Al mismo tiempo, la funcionalidad del multiviewer puede utilizarse para adaptar los recursos de producci n espec ficos necesarios para soportar los nuevos formatos de producci n de ultra alta definici n.
Andreas Loges, vicepresidente de tecnolog as de media de Rohde & Schwarz, se ala que a medida que los broadcasters siguen aumentando el n mero de canales y los m todos de distribuci n a los consumidores, necesitan una tecnolog a que les permita adaptarse r pidamente a los cambios cotidianos. Esta nueva funci n Scalable Distributed Multiviewer en Prismon proporciona un extraordinario nivel de flexibilidad al permitir ofrecer cualquier se al de entrada, decodificada en cualquier Prismon dentro de la red IP, para ser mostrada en cualquier otra salida Prismon dentro de esa misma red.
Adem s de esta mayor flexibilidad, la nueva funci n de multivisor distribuido escalable ha sido dise ada para resolver otros problemas comunes que se encuentran en las redes de producci n y distribuci n basadas en IP. Uno de ellos es el espinoso tema de la asignaci n de recursos: la ltima versi n requiere una potencia de CPU significativamente menor y menos licencias de descodificaci n. La funci n SDM tambi n proporciona una mayor flexibilidad de red y forma parte de una serie de nuevos conjuntos de herramientas que permitir n la configuraci n de un gran n mero de sistemas Prismon a trav s de una interfaz de usuario de control centralizado.
