7 Wonder, a Banijay Group Company, and Double Busy, will be joining forces once again as Micky Flanagan returns to Sky One for a 1 60 Christmas special of his Thinking Aloud series Micky Flanagan's Christmas. Due to air this December, Micky will reveal his true feelings on Christmas.
In Micky Flanagan's Christmas, Flanagan will declutter his overactive Christmas-themed mind. From sharing the things that keep him awake in the holiday season, to exploring a number of important questions like why do so many people get divorced at Christmas? Exactly what is a three bird roast? And why the hell do the British public get such a panic on to get their new sofa in time? he will leave no stone unturned in a comedic pursuit of his festive grievances.
Micky Flanagan's first series for Sky One Micky Flanagan's Detour de France smashed the channel's slot average with 656k viewers and Thinking Aloud, his second series for the channel did 655K for its premier launch.
Despite labelling himself a simple man, Flanagan has some very complex feeling about Christmas. He likes the booze and the laziness but he hates everything else that goes along with it. Or does he? It is safe to say he is not quite sure, which is why he wants to bring a festive fandango of Christmas cheer to Sky One.
Micky Flanagan said: I am determined to find out if Father Christmas is real. Or is he just more fake news in this post-truth world.

The series has been commissioned by Sky Ones Commissioning Editor Shirley Jones, who also acts as Executive Producer alongside Mike Reilly for 7 Wonder and Christian Knowles for Double Busy. 7 Wonder is part of the Banijay Group and all worldwide rights to Micky Flanagan's Christmas are owned by Banijay Rights.
