Another generation of students of the masters' programs in Editing and Color Correction for Films and TV Series and Post-production and VFX at TAI University School of Arts obtained the user-level certification as Mistika Color Artist and Mistika VFX Artist. In this professional evaluation, the students had the opportunity to demonstrate their compositing, grading and finishing skills, acquired during their studies working with Mistika Boutique, SGO's
full-finishing and color grading solution.
The certification guarantees student's ability to work with Mistika and facilitates their incorporation to the job market. This practical exam goes beyond the basic knowledge of Mistika's features and toolsets where students need to build common industry workflows that can easily be applied to any other post-production software, shared Adrian Gonzalez, training mentor at TAI University and Mistika Boutique Product Manager at SGO.

At TAI University, the master's degrees portfolio is designed from a professional perspective and including Mistika Technology in both programmes help the students to learn how to use one of the most innovative and complete
post-production technologies in the market. With Mistika Boutique they not only learn about color correction, but also gain a view and understanding of the general post-production workflows and processes , says Yara Nodar, Director of both master's degrees at TAI. She also highlights that by learning how to work with Mistika, their students get a chance to stand out from the crowd, making it much easier for them to work in the industry.

Education is a key strategy for SGO and it is very important that Mistika is included as a professional tool in learning institutions such as TAI, as it helps empower, educate and prepare future industry experts, points out Jose Luis Acha, Regional Sales Manager at SGO.

Andrea Franco, recently graduated in the Editing and Color Correction for Films and TV Series master's degree program, says that Mistika Boutique is an excellent tool for grading and finishing. The error that many junior colorists make is not mastering the technical aspects behind the creative work. With Mistika and its unique interface, you get to understand the complete process and parameters, such as color space, gamut, gamma, output curves, etc. Through Mistika, we have picked up several different industry workflows.

Mistika helps understand how the industry works, providing more possibilities and flexibility to the creatives to adapt and optimize workflows. This is one of the main reasons why customers choose it as their finishing tool , concludes Adrian Gonzalez.
Students enrolled in both master's programs at TAI are aiming to achieve a professional profile that combines both creativity and technical abilities. Most of them have managed to develop a very complete profile, including editing tasks as well as color correction and finishing.

Managing Mistika will not only help me in my career, but also in acquiring new skills and techniques. This has marked a before and an after for me as a professional , concludes Diego Guillen, recently licensed in the Post-production and VFX master's degree.
