Super Drags of Netflix, first production of Latin America with Dolby Atmos Marcelo Cyro (brown sugar Productions) sound designer uses the Nugen Audio Nugen Post package to control the consistency of the mixture of the new series of Netflix.
The sound designer and partner of Panela Productions (Brazil), Marcelo Cyro received the task of mixing Super Drags Netflix, the first series of Latin America employing Dolby Atmos. So, Cyro resorted to Nugen Post package of Nugen Audio to check the consistency of the mixture.

"After trying so many things, I found the solution ISL True Peak Limiter of Nugen. After using it, my mix ran without having any other problems. It allowed me to take care of the sound and help the story without worrying if it is the real peak of - 10 dB", it adds.
Cyro believes that each blend has its challenges and it is important to find out the technical specifications before mixing to alleviate problems and concentrate on being creative. Likes to take into account the way in which the sound will be used to enhance the story and the importance of the sound. As a re-recording mixer is responsible for focusing on the sound quality while controlling what the audience feel or hear.
"The True Peak Limiter ISL is a significant part of my mix", adds Cyro. "I use it in my auxes (effects, foleys, dialogue and music) and also use it to prevent some peaks and damage the speakers. ISL is that you do not lose the lower band as you do with so many other compressors. It is also very fast when you have a great transitional effect. It is necessary to use sound and real Dolby Atmos peak parameters and use it on all objects to prevent peaks. It does a very good job".
