Fun, sun and hot tunes! Get Lucky Summer NYE returns to PlettGoodLuck, Spoegwolf, Will Linley and Mango Groove are set to perform at the Get Lucky Summer, the first three-day New Year's Eve festival.

New Year's Eve is only three months away but why not start making plans now? Get Lucky Summer, the popular sunset concert series is set to return to the Garden Route in December 2022. This year, some of Mzansi's top musos including award-winning pop trio GoodLuck and rising TikTok sensation Will Linley will be hitting the stage as we usher in the new year.

GET LUCKY SUMMER RETURNS TO PLETTENBERG BAY Get Lucky Summer is one of the most popular New Year's Eve festivals in South Africa. 2022 marks the seventh edition of the festival and festival-goers can expect a whole lot of fun in the sun!

We know how crazy the summer season can be and how hard it is to come together with friends and family in an environment that is fun and exciting, said Ben Peters, a member of SA's GoodLuck and the event organiser.

We've created a festival experience that combines the best beach activities, a relaxing beer garden, great food and awesome music, that is just walking distance from the beach.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT GET LUCKY SUMMER? There will be a variety of activities including a touch rugby tournament, beach volleyball, action frisbee and of course, a hot lineup of talented stars. The likes of GoodLuck, Will Linley, Spoegwolf and the legendary Mango Groove will be performing.

The festival kicks off on Friday 30 December and Afrikaans band Spoegwolf will be playing a sunset show to close off day one of the festival.

On day 2, festival-goers will have a relaxing day while enjoying some drinks and listening to some awesome tunes before ushering in the new year at midnight. GoodLuck, Will Linley and Veranda Panda will be performing after 01:00.

Mango Groove will wrap up the three-day concert with a sunset concert.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Early Bird tickets for the full weekend at the Get Lucky Summer in Plettenberg Bay are already on sale at R550 each.

Single-day tickets will be available between R180 to R750 each.

A full weekend ticket for kids under 12 is R500.
