Der Aufsichtsrat der Schaeffler AG hat in seiner Sitzung am 13. Dezember 2013 Norbert Indlekofer (55) und Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus (59), beide derzeit Bereichsvorst nde Automotive, mit Wirkung zum 1. Januar 2014 in den Vorstand der Schaeffler AG berufen. Norbert Indlekofer und Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus werden zuk nftig gemeinsam die Sparte Automotive f hren. Norbert Indlekofer wird f r die Unternehmensbereiche Getriebesysteme und Automotive Aftermarket verantwortlich sein. Er bernimmt zudem die Verantwortung f r den Bereich Forschung & Entwicklung innerhalb der Sparte Automotive. Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus wird die beiden Unternehmensbereiche Motor- und Fahrwerksysteme f hren. Dar ber hinaus verantwortet er das Globale Key Account Management.
Wolfgang Dangel (50), der bisher das Automotive-Gesch ft geleitet hat, verl sst das Unternehmen zum Jahresende auf eigenen Wunsch, um sich neuen beruflichen Aufgaben zu widmen.

Schaeffler, Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates der Schaeffler AG, sagte: Wir freuen uns, mit Herrn Indlekofer und Herrn Prof. Dr. Pleus zwei so erfahrene Automobilexperten in den Vorstand berufen zu k nnen, die in unserem Unternehmen wesentliche Bereiche des Automobilgesch fts seit ber zehn Jahren erfolgreich gef hrt haben. Mit der neuen Doppelspitze tragen wir der hohen Bedeutung des Automotive-Gesch fts innerhalb der Schaeffler Gruppe Rechnung. Herrn Dangel geb hrt f r seine langj hrige hervorragende Arbeit f r unser Unternehmen unser ausdr cklicher Dank. Wir w nschen ihm f r seinen weiteren Lebensweg alles Gute. Herrn Indlekofer und Herrn Prof. Dr. Pleus w nschen wir viel Erfolg bei der Bew ltigung ihrer neuen herausfordernden Aufgaben.
