Event to be held Oct. 13-16; 35 workshops on tap

APRIL 21, 2015 (Exton, PA) Early-bird registration at substantial discounts is available now for SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2015, the cable telecommunications industry's premier engineering event, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) announced today.

SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2015 will be conducted Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 13-16 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. At the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo website, http://expo.scte.org, engineering and operations professionals and other attendees can secure discounts for a variety of registration types.

Early-bird pricing for SCTE members and nonmembers alike is available through Tuesday, June 30. Nonmembers who join SCTE are immediately eligible for the member advantage discount. Membership is $75 and is available in the Membership section of www.scte.org or by calling 800-542-5040.

Expo 2015 will feature 35 workshops on topics that provide material operational and business benefits to the cable community across five tracks: Business-to-Business Solutions and Energy 2020; Next-Generation Services; Wireless and Home Networks; Wireline: RF; and Wireline: Fiber and Core.

Operated by SCTE and its global brand, the International Society of Broadband Experts (ISBE), SCTE Cable-Tec Expo is the leading venue for helping the cable telecommunications industry and its workforce to reduce costs, deploy new services and increase customer satisfaction.

SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2015 will feature thought leaders confronting technical challenges facing the industry; peer-to-peer interaction and networking; hundreds of hands-on, technology-centric exhibits; an extensive menu of robust and relevant technical workshops; the International Cable-Tec Games; the IP Challenge highlighting expertise in IP networking and engineering; and other events.
