Muvhango's fan-favourite character Susan won't catch a break after being elected as the new mayor in Thate. Tenda will set her up for the murder of the former mayor when she refuses to work with him, according to the TVSA July teasers. The teasers also indicate that actress Bukamina Cebekhulu, who plays the character of Gugu will reprise her role this month.

INSIDE SUSAN'S DOWNFALL Muvhango's popular character Gugu will return as MMC's CEO this month after her breakup with Azwindini last month. Viewers of the SABC2 soapie will be devastated this month when Tenda frames Susan for the murder he committed in June. Tenda will also request Vho-Gizara to assist him in bringing Susan down when she rejects him to be her ally.

Tonight's (1 July) TVSA teaser reads:

Susan gets elected as mayor. Tenda wants to be her ally and is angered when she rejects him. He decides to set her up for the murder of the former mayor.

Tenda will also set Susan (Maumela Mahuwa) up for failure when he plays her against her own cousin Thifheli.

The Monday 25 July teaser reads:

Thifheli unwittingly gets herself and Susan into deep into trouble.

The Thursday 28 July and Friday 29 July teasers read:

Susan discovers that Thifhelimbilu owns the company that received the cleaning tender.

Susan is in trouble after news emerges that her cousin, Thifhelimbilu has been awarded a tender fraudulently, while Tenda offends James.

GUGU RETURNS FROM KZN Imani's cousin Gugu will make a surprise return next Wednesday, 6 July. Though the teaser doesn't mention her name we can assume it's Gugu as she left for KZN after her dramatic breakup with Azwindi last month.

The Wednesday 6 July teaser reads:

Guess who is back from KZN and looking refreshed?

Gugu was placed in a mental institution by her doppelganger Nomasonto and Rosemary (Gugulethu Mzobe) who wanted to steal her life.
