After 14 years of drama capped with thrills in 2021, e.tv confirmed that Rhythm City wouldn't be renewed for a new season in a bid to bring fresh content.

No doubt she had managed to keep her private life under wraps after the canning of Rhythm City.

Mncedisi Shabangu as Khulekani Ngobese

Shabangu was best known for his hyena laugh, which had quickly become the signature of his on-screen character of Khulekani Ngobese.

The actor died in 2021, aged 54.
