Talpas la voz kids sets reality show record for telemundo media The two-hour premiere of Telemundo Medias much-anticipated reality show La Voz Kids on Sunday, May 5th ranked as the #1 reality show premiere in Telemundo s history. It delivered nearly 1.7 million viewers, a 74% increase for the key 7 pm timeslot this season.

Hosted by TV personality Daisy Fuentes and entertainment host Jorge Bernal, and featuring celebrity music coaches Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia, the premiere of La Voz Kids ranked #1 across all stations in Miami regardless of language. The show also scored high ratings in New York, where it outperformed Univision, FOX and CW, as well as in Phoenix and Denver.

On the social media front, the premiere ranked as the #1 Hispanic TV broadcaster show on the Trendrr SocialTV chart with over 42,673 social interactions.

The show features a wide variety of young talented singers between the ages of 7 and 14 from across the country taking the La Voz Kids stage to perform in front of the coaches across a variety of musical styles. They will compete in blind auditions, followed by the battle rounds and live shows. The winner of La Voz Kids will receive a recording contract and a cash prize to support his/her education.

The triumph of Talpas La Voz Kids follows the enormous success of NBCs The Voice in the U.S. and across international markets. The Voice Kids, a successful stand-alone primetime format in its own right, has also scored phenomenal ratings in The Netherlands, Ukraine, Thailand and Germany. The format has already been sold to close to 20 countries including South Korea, Peru and France.
