HAVAS CHIEF YANNICK BOLLORE TO KEYNOTE AT MIPTV

Paris, 27 February 2015 - MIPTV today announces that Yannick Bollor , Chairman and CEO of French advertising giant Havas, is to deliver an exclusive keynote speech at MIPTV.

Yannick Bollor will examine the future of media and entertainment in a keynote entitled Content redefined, scheduled for Tuesday 14 April at 12.10 pm in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals.

Bollor started his media career in 2002 when he co-founded the film company WY Productions ( Yves Saint Laurent ). From 2006 to 2012 he was CEO of Bollor M dia, the television and print division of the Bollor Group, including the TV channels Direct 8, Direct Star and Direct Cin ma and the advertising company Bollor Intermedia. Under his leadership, Bollor Media became the n 1 independent audiovisual group in France.

In 2011, he signed a 465 million deal to sell the group's TV division to Canal Plus in exchange for shares in Vivendi. That same year, he joined the Havas Group, one of the largest global advertising and communication groups in the world, and was appointed Chairman and CEO in 2013.

Yannick Bollor is one of the new French media moguls, building a career across the international film, TV and advertising industries. Delegates will have a unique opportunity to access his insight into television, advertising and entertainment, which feature so heavily at MIPTV, says Laurine Garaude, Director of Television at Reed MIDEM.

The Havas Chairman and CEO joins Jeremy Darroch, Group Chief Executive of Sky, as speakers so far confirmed at MIPTV 2015. Darroch will give a Media Mastermind Keynote on Monday 13 April.

Organised by Reed MIDEM, MIPTV will be held in Cannes from April 13-16.
