Bringing a year's worth of stories to life for Sunbelt Rentals

At ICG, we love helping brands tell their stories in meaningful and impactful ways.

Towards the end of 2024 we worked with long-standing client Sunbelt Rentals to bring their annual staff magazine to life, ensuring it reflected its ambitious 4.0 Strategy and the hardworking people behind the business.

With a fresh new name, Equipped for Success, the magazine aimed to engage, inform and inspire over 4,000 team members across the UK and Ireland.

To make the magazine truly representative of Sunbelt Rentals' diverse and dynamic workforce, we focused on storytelling at every level of the business.

We interviewed senior management to understand how business units have performed over the last year, gaining insights into the successes, challenges and key milestones.

But it wasn't just about leadership we also wanted to highlight the incredible efforts of frontline teammates.

From traffic management operatives and fitters to Trakway, fencing and barriers experts, we featured individuals who play a crucial role in keeping Sunbelt Rentals moving forward. Their stories added a personal touch to the magazine, making it relatable and engaging for employees at every level.

Bringing Equipped for Success to life required a seamless collaboration between ICG and Sunbelt Rentals' marketing team. Our role spanned content planning, interviews, article writing and design execution, ensuring every element of the magazine was engaging, informative and aligned with the company's branding.

With 72 pages of rich content and striking visuals, the magazine was carefully crafted to capture the essence of Sunbelt Rentals.

Just before Christmas, it was delivered directly to the homes of everyone at Sunbelt Rentals, providing an end-of-year boost and celebrating the collective achievements of the business.

The response to Equipped for Success has been fantastic. Employees have praised its engaging content, the recognition of their peers and the insight it provides into the company's progress.

At ICG, we are proud to have once again played a role in telling Sunbelt Rentals' story and showcasing the incredible people who drive its success. We look forward to working on future editions and continuing to support Sunbelt Rentals in creating a magazine that truly resonates with its team.
