dcinex appoints Christof Federle as new Country General Manager for Austria and as Supervisor of their Balkan, Romanian & Hungarian affiliates.

dcinex is proud to welcome Mr. Christof Federle, former CFO of Cinecom Austria and CEO of Cinecom Systems. Mr Federle will manage the Austrian company dcinex GmbH in Vienna as well as supervise the dcinex offices in Croatia, Romania & Hungary.

Christof Federle is an experienced Operations Executive who has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals to success in a variety of competitive industries. He has a track record of more than 24 year experience in strategic planning, business development, sales, project and product management, consulting and in mergers and acquisitions.

Christof Federle joined the Austrian screen advertising sales house Cinecom as CFO in 2001 and was responsible for the implementation of digital advertising in Austria in 2003/2004. He established Cinecom Systems in 2006 as a hardware and software provider for Cinema solutions. Before joining Cinecom, Christof Federle was COO of an international advertising agency. He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and in Engineering.

Austria and its neighboring countries are of high strategic importance for our group, said Till Cussmann, Vice-President Exhibitor Services. Austria was not only the first country where we successfully completed our first VPF roll-out, but it is also an important test market for innovations in cinema technology. On top, we have major projects in the neighboring countries and in the southeast region of Europe, where we want to strengthen our presence. The appointment of Christof Federle is the right move to guarantee our customers the best commercial and technical advice coming from a person with the understanding of the cinema industry and deep technical & operational experience.

Christof Federle will take on his new responsibilities in August and will be based in the Vienna office. He will be supported by the well-known technical and administrative staff of dcinex Austria.
