AJA Expands Lineup of openGear Cards With New OG-ROI-SDI Scan Converter

AJA Video Systems has released OG-ROI-SDI, a new openGear compatible scan converter with 3G-SDI to 3G-SDI and mirrored HDMI outputs. Available today, OG-ROI-SDI features openGear's high-density architecture and support for Ross Video DashBoard remote control and monitoring software.

OG-ROI-SDI is an openGear scan converter that enables high-quality conversion of 3G-SDI input and Region of Interest selection to 3G-SDI and HDMI mirrored outputs, featuring extensive audio functionality, incredible image scaling, aspect and frame rate conversion, and image rotation including frame sync functionality. Region of interest support allows professionals to easily extract video source signals for scan convert, scaling and conversion to HDMI and SDI from SDI sources.

The new scan converter harnesses the power and reliability of AJA's production-proven Mini-Converters, combined with the flexibility and functionality of openGear's high-density architecture and support for DashBoard. OG-ROI-SDI supports industry-standard configuration, monitoring and control in broadcast environments over a PC or local network on Windows , macOS or Linux.
