Product Recognized in June for Streaming Media European Readers' Choice Award Win

EVERGREEN, Colo. November 20, 2013 Wowza Media Systems, LLC, provider of Simply Powerful Streaming media server software, announced today it won the 2013 Streaming Media Readers Choice Awards in the Media Server category.

In June 2013, the company's Wowza Media Server also earned the Streaming Media European Readers' Choice Award in the Server Hardware/Software category. The 2012 Streaming Media Readers Choice Awards saw more than 58,000 votes cast for more than 350 products, services, and companies in a total of 24 categories.

The 2013 award honor was presented to Wowza Media Systems at the Streaming Media West show, being held today through November 21st at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach. Winners will also be featured in the December/January issue of Streaming Media magazine, on StreamingMedia.com, and published in the StreamingMedia Xtra newsletter. For 2013, more than 475 nominations were reduced down to three finalists in each of the 26 categories, and then finally down to a winner.
