Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman to Star in Office Christmas Party (Exclusive)

Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, TJ Miller and Kate McKinnon will star in Office Christmas Party, a holiday comedy from DreamWorks Pictures.

Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory) are directing the ensemble project that was first set up as a pitch by the duo in 2010.

The logline is in the title as the story follows a cast of characters who have to contend with an office party gone awry.

The project has attracted numerous actors and writers over the years but the latest script is written by Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky and Laura Solon.

Scott Stuber, Guymon Casady and Daniel Rappaport are producing. Speck and Gordon are Executive Producers.

The movie will shoot this spring in Atlanta as it heads toward a Dec. 9, 2016 release date from Paramount.

Paramount will distribute the film in the U.S. and select international territories while Mister Smith Entertainment is overseeing distribution in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

DreamWorks' partner, Reliance, will distribute the film in India while Entertainment One (eOne) handles the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia and New Zealand.

Aniston, who last appeared on the big-screen in New Line's Horrible Bosses 2, recently wrapped Garry Marshall's comedy Mother's Day. She is repped by CAA, Lighthouse Management and Hansen Jacobson.

Bateman is one of the voice stars in Zootopia, which Disney opens March 4. His drama The Family Fang, which he directed and co-stars in, is due to open later this year. He is repped by CAA, Lighthouse Management and Hansen Jacobson.

Miller is coming off of the mega-hot opening of Deadpool and is one of the stars of HBO's comedy Silicon Valley. He is repped by CAA, 3 Arts Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman.

McKinnon is the Saturday Night Live comedienne who is poised for a major breakthrough, starring alongside Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig in this summer's Ghostbusters reboot. She is repped by UTA, Principato-Young Entertainment and Hansen Jacobson.
