Netflix Will Award an Incredible Cash Prize of R$1M to the Winner of the Round 6k Run, a Competition Celebrating the Second Season of Squid Game, The Platforms Most-Viewed Series

S o Paulo, December 5, 2024 - Are you ready for a big challenge in real life? To celebrate the second season of Squid Game, premiering on December 26, Netflix is offering Brazilian fans of the series an amazing experience. On December 14, at S o Paulos Parque Villa-Lobos, the Round 6K Run will involve 2,000 participants whove qualified in the competitions online stage. In the end, only one winner will take home a R$1M cash prize as a gold certificate.
The challenge will feature some of the series most iconic events, such as Red Light, Green Light, which uses innovative motion-sensor technology to eliminate anyone who moves under the gaze of the Young Hee doll, and Tug of War. Participants will also have to endure a six-kilometer race and ultimately make their way through a maze used to determine the winner. At every stage of the competition, the number of participants hoping to win the R$1M prize will go down.
Participants can register for the Round 6K Run for free, online only, from Thursday, December 5 to Saturday, December 7, at www.round6k.com. The event will start right there, with a virtual stage in which participants are quizzed about the first season of Squid Game. Participants will be ranked, with only the top 2,000 invited to the next in-person stage.
Participation in the December 14 event is limited to residents of S o Paulo who are 18 years or older and meet the health requirements for moderate to extreme physical activities. The full rules and regulations are available on the event website.
Round 6K Run will be open to anyone who wants to watch and cheer on the competitors at Parque Villa-Lobos, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is subject to capacity. After the in-person events, fans of the series will also be able to take part free of charge in the activities offered at the event space located at Ilha Musical, near Gate D.

This event is open to anyone who wants to watch and cheer on the participants. Admission subject to capacity.
