On the latest episode of Real Housewives van Pretoria (RHOPTA), which aired on KykNet on Thursday 22 December, Renkse Lammerding fell off a horse while on vacation in Zanzibar.

RENSKE FALLS OFF A HORSE IN ZANZIBAR Kiki La Coco, Mel Viljoen, Rhona Erasmus and Renkse Lammerding were still on vacation in Zanzibar on the latest episode of the Real Housewives van Pretoria. Marie Bosman had left early to go back to Pretoria, while pregnant Talana Kuhn had not joined the ladies.

The ladies were taking in the sun and the sea in Zanzibar. Rhona was relaxing alone while Kiki and Mel spent some time together. Renkse on the other hand jumped in a horse.

However, all of a sudden the ladies noticed that Renkse fell off the horse as it ran away. The ladies all jumped off their seats and ran to see if she was okay.

The reality star explained that once the guy let go off the horse, it just took off.

I asked the guy from the hotel if its used to going on its own. Why didn't he tell me? I specifically asked him. But anyway it is what it is. I fell off. It could've been worse, she said to Rhona.

THE REALITY STAR OPENS UP ABOUT THE FALL Renske detailed how she felt while the horse sped off and she was falling.

The moment the guy let go, the horse took off at the speed of lightning. He didn't listen or react at all. I wasn't in the right position. And I tried to regain my balance. The next moment it threw me off on the left side, she said in a confessional.

The only thing that went through my head it feels slow, but it's fast. I mustn't let my foot get caught. One must keep one's heels low. Feet not thrust in too deep. I should rather let go than to be dragged along at high speed, she continued.
