Yahlive and Alpha One RTV Network broadcast to MENA viewers from the Balkan community

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2ND NOVEMBER, 2015: Yahlive announced today that it has signed a capacity deal of one transponder with Adriatic Tours S.L., owners of Alpha One RTV Network, and that both companies will be collaborating to broadcast channels to the Balkan communities in the Middle East and North Africa in eight languages; Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian, Albanian, Turkish, Spanish, English and Arabic. These free-to-air channels will be available to Yahlive viewers that are in the MENA footprint pointed at the Yahsat 1A satellite located at 52.5E.

This deal is in line with both Yahlive and Alpha One RTV Networks business strategies that focus on targeting the different communities across the region and on providing popular home-grown TV entertainment complemented with a variety of premium international and local channels.

Yahlive already serves a large number of prominent communities in the region including the Arabic, Farsi, Afghan and Kurdish speaking communities. An IPSOS survey conducted earlier this year, highlighted that Yahlive has the highest overall score of satisfied new customers among regional satellite providers and that it is the fasted growing satellite broadcasting company in the region in terms of number of channels and viewers.
