Content creation is booming. Effectively managing and leveraging these files is essential for creators and businesses.
CYME addresses this need by transforming Peakto-its AI-powered media manager for Mac-into a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro, while expanding its compatibility to professional video formats like Blackmagic RAW (BRAW).
CYME will unveil these two innovations at the NAB Show 2025 the premier event for media industry innovations, which brings together over 43,000 exhibitors and takes place from April 5 to 9 in Las Vegas.
CYME, a developer of innovative solutions for videographers and photographers on Mac, is expanding its video management offerings and launching two new features at the NAB Show 2025 , the media industry event in Las Vegas:
Peakto is now available as a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro users benefit from centralized organization of all their projects and AI-enhanced search capabilities, with local analysis that preserves data confidentiality.
Peakto, the AI-powered Media Manager, unveils new features in its version 2.4: it is now compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (with DaVinci Resolve support coming soon). It also expands its compatibility to include professional RAW video formats such as Blackmagic Raw BRAW (with support for ArriRaw and RED R3D formats coming soon).
Peakto, Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro Peakto integrates seamlessly with Premiere Pro through a new plugin within Adobe's Unified Extensibility Platform (UXP). With this plugin, Premiere Pro users can leverage their entire media archive, functioning as a personal image and video library.
Using Peakto, they can simultaneously search across all their media (videos, photos), regardless of whether they are stored in different projects, folders, or hard drives. Users can find the desired content with a simple description and integrate it into the Premiere Pro timeline with a single click. For this intelligent search, Peakto employs local AI that does not rely on the cloud, ensuring the confidentiality of creations.
Ideal for teamwork, Peakto allows multiple users to remotely query locally stored data without using the cloud, making it perfect for controlling storage costs, maximizing the use of original content, and protecting data. The plugin for Premiere Pro is available with the Pro subscription.
Peakto 2.4 Compatible with Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro (DaVinci Resolve Coming Soon) Peakto is the Media Manager for Mac capable of centralizing and navigating over 1 million video and photo files stored across various media and projects. It leverages AI to assist creators in organizing their content (search by prompt, automatic keyword and category assignment, etc.).
Now compatible with Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (with DaVinci Resolve in development), Peakto can search across multiple projects from these applications simultaneously, using local AI that preserves content confidentiality.
Supporting containers like AVI, MXF, MKV (and more), as well as formats like Blackmagic RAW (BRAW), with ArriRaw and RED R3D coming soon, Peakto is built to meet the needs of video professionals.
By selecting elements in Peakto for their next video edit, showreel, or website, creators save valuable time and maximize their asset utilization.
New Sharing Feature Version 2.4 introduces a sharing function, Peakto Connect, which allows creators to transform their Mac into a full-fledged server accessible remotely by multiple users without relying on the cloud. Files remain stored locally, keeping storage costs under control and ensuring 100% data confidentiality.
Price and availability Peakto is available as a subscription:
The Standard subscription includes the Mac-compatible software and individual web access. Pricing starts at $10/month.
The Pro subscription includes everything in the Standard version, plus the Premiere Pro plugin, support for professional video formats (BRAW, ArriRaw, and RED R3D), and early access to team collaboration features (in beta). This includes multi-user web access to the photo and video database, as well as guest web access (coming soon). The Pro subscription is $25/month per user.
The Standard version of Peakto is also available as a one-time purchase with a perpetual license, including one year of updates. See compatibility and system requirements for Peakto 2.4
