VSN Innovation awarded by the Chamber of Commerce 12 June 2013The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Terrassa has awarded VSN a prize for the Promotion of Innovation, Research and Development. VSNs level of innovation and development is the strong point of the companys business, 50% of its staff is dedicated to R & D and the planned investment in R & D for the triennium 2013-1015 is 2.7 M . The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Terrassa has awarded VSN a prize for the Promotion of Innovation, Research and Development. The Chamber Awards are a public recognition given to companies which are remarkable in a certain business strategic aspect and have an outstanding economic and social potential. In particular, VSN's award is granted for the implementation of an innovative management model and for its policy of collaboration with universities and R&D technologic centres.

VSN works closely with renowned universities such as UPC, URL-La Salle and UAB, it also participates in the Internet second-generation i2-CAT consortium and Technologic Centres as LEITAT.

According to VSN's CEO Jordi Utiel "The success of our strategy is based on transforming theory into practice, taking advantage of the R&D potential of the universities and turning it into working products or services that can be sold and generate wealth for the country. "

The awards ceremony will be hosted by the Business and Occupancy Advisor, The Hon. Mr. Felip Puig i Godes, on the 20th of June in Terrassa.
