Results coverage on RT Player streamed in 154 countries including China, Mali and Kazakhstan

Huge audiences engaged with RT 's comprehensive General Election 2024 results coverage across all platforms as it unfolded this weekend.

RT delivered comprehensive coverage of this weekend's General Election results, with all the breaking news and updates from count centres throughout the country as well as analysis on developments delivered across video, audio, app and online to audiences at home and abroad.

RT News' online coverage received over 31 million page views in just two days on the RT News App and

RTE.ie. In addition 14.35 million video views of election coverage were consumed across all RT 's social media channels and platforms including Tik Tok, Instagram, X, Bluesky and Facebook.

2.2 million* viewers tuned into RT 's Election 2024 results and news programming across the three days as RT broadcast 30 hours of live television coverage.

On RT Player, election results coverage and news content generated over 622,000 streams to date from 154 countries worldwide, including China, Venezuela, Mali and Kazakhstan.

Over 50 hours of live radio coverage was also delivered across RT Radio 1 and RT Raidi na Gaeltachta.

RT co-produced over 15 hours of live Irish language election results coverage for TG4 in addition to regular Nuacht bulletins on RT One.

RT also continued its commitment to supporting the future development of Irish media and journalism with 50 third level journalism students from UL, DCU, University of Galway and Ballyfermot College of Further Education employed to work alongside RT teams in count centres throughout the country, gaining first-hand experience and contributing to multi-platform coverage of the General Election.

It is a responsibility that RT and teams across the organisation have shown their commitment to these past few weeks and over last weekend, with coverage from every count centre and every constituency across the country. RT 's quality results coverage and analysis engaged huge audiences on every platform across tv, radio, online and on social media highlighting RT 's commitment to serve as Ireland's public service media .
