Cosm has announced that downtown Detroit, more specifically adjacent to Campus Martius, will be the home of its fourth experiential entertainment venue. Cosm's first two venues in Los Angeles (Hollywood Park) and Dallas (Grandscape) are open and downtown Detroit joins Atlanta's Centennial Yards as the next two cities to usher in a new way for fans to experience live sports, immersive art, and experiential entertainment through Shared Reality

I can't think of a better place than the Detroit for our fourth venue, says Jeb Terry, Cosm's President and CEO. Detroit embodies the right mix of sports fandom, enterprising spirit, and energy; and we are honored to be part of the downtown revitalization that Dan Gilbert and his team are driving. Cosm Detroit will be the always-on heartbeat of downtown, offering unparalleled sports and entertainment experiences for Detroiters to share together; honoring the great history of the city while celebrating Detroit today and its incredibly bright future.

For the development of its fourth venue, Cosm has hired ROSSETTI, local multi-disciplinary architecture firm with roots in Detroit. Like its other venues, Cosm Detroit will feature its world-class design and proprietary technology, including a 26.6m 12K LED dome and an adjacent hi-resolution LED wall similar to the 150 ft long display at the Cosm in Hollywood Park.

Cosm's approach to next gen entertainment combined with Bedrock's development prowess will ensure the success of Cosm in Detroit.

Programming at Cosm Detroit will include a slate of live sports offerings, which continues to expand through official partnerships with UFC, the NBA, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, FOX Sports, the NFL, and more, for fans to experience their favorite sports, teams, and events from across the world in Shared Reality.

In addition to live sports, Cosm's programming will also highlight Cirque du Soleil's timeless production O and immersive art experiences from members of the Cosm Studios Creator Program, including award-winning new media artist Nancy Baker Cahill; filmmaker, director, and co-founder of Planetary Collective Guy Reid; and acclaimed composer and new media artist Ricardo Romaneiro, with additional creators and studios to join the program in the future.
